Our First Novel
If you're here, you probably either 1) know Wil and want to see what he's doing with Jack Boots Ink, or 2) have heard about the novel. Well, I'm here to tell you about the novel, which, for the most part, is what Wil's doing.
I've likely been elected to talk about the novel because I'm the only one who'll give a straight answer to the inevitable question, "What's the book about?" Well, it's a work in progress, but it's a midwest American Gothic horror thriller with philosophical undertones. How's that?
The story is written from the perspectives of three people: myself, my brother Travers (most know him as Reed), and my ex-girlfriend Jesse. Travers ends up missing, Jesse discovers she has inside knowledge about the entity that haunts us all, and I sort of stumble around trying to save the day. Charly, my current girlfriend, also plays a major role in the novel; I suspect you'll see a lot more from her point of view in book #2.
But I don't want to say too much! After all, we have a long way to go before the book reaches it spine-tingling conclusion. Until then, continue to visit us to see what else is happening online with Jack Boots Ink.
